Vintage Esther and the King (1960)

Here's another Bible-based movie I recently downloaded. It isn't entirely factual, according to the Bible, but an interesting rendition of what could have happened. The roman-ish armor doesn't quite fit the Persian Empire, either, neither does Richard Egan's clean-shaven look (though his elegance more than makes up for it), but nonetheless it's a classic piece, enjoyable and interesting. Unlike the other films I've been posting, this one isn't really for kids, at least not young ones; the dialogues and half-naked ladies might not find them appreciative audiences.
