Not everybody is blessed with such a wonderful daddy as my own. Commonly known to most as Jacques Elan, this amazing person has made it his life's calling to use his beautiful artistic talents to benefit millions of children all over the world. For over twenty years, his cute illustrations, models, board games, diagrams, and stories have entertained and instructed children the world over, and (for those Family Fun viewers) who can ever forget "We're going to have a fun story drawn by uncle Jacques..."
But he's not just a great artist and everybody's favorite uncle Jacques, he's also a wonderful friend and the best dad anybody could hope to have. Even though he couldn't live near us very often, due to the pressures of his ministry, we knew we were in his heart, and he was in ours. Recently, circumstances in general have changed a great deal for all of us, enabling us to have much closer communication and more frequent visit opportunities (HALLELUJAH and YIPPEE!!!), and that's a dream come true for all of us.
But what's most important to me, is knowing that no matter where in the world we go, (and we've been all over the place) I have a very special daddy, who has such a very special place in my heart. JE T'AIME PAPA!!! JOYEUX ANNIVERSAIRE!!
