It's a very interesting Cup this year; our present team consists of quite a few nationalities and we all have vested interests in different teams.--Spanish, Mexican, Argentine, French, American, Brazilian...
I, after some contemplation, have decided to cheer for the following teams in this order: Argentina, France, Brazil. Argentina first, because my husband and children are Argentine, and I myself am only a year away from becoming an Argentine citizen. It feels like home to me now. Second in my line is France, because it is my birth country. And thirdly, Brazil, because I owe to Brazil my love for sports and soccer, having lived there during my tender childhood and teenage years. Vai nessa, Brazil!!! I think I'll get to toast in champagne one way or another, this year--yippee!
